Edith Clever

Edith Clever ( born December 13, 1940 in Wuppertal ) is a German actress and director.

Life

After graduating from high school and the drama training at the Munich Otto -Falkenberg School Clever received a first engagement at the Staatstheater Kassel. 1966-1970 she played in the theater of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, but also took guest offers true at the Munich Chamber games and at the Schauspielhaus Zurich. 1971-1989 she was a member of the Berlin stage where they are in the collaboration with Klaus Michael Grueber and Luc Bondy, but especially with Peter Stein profiled ( Varvara in Gorky's Summer guests; Ruth in Botho Strauss's trilogy of reunion; Clytemnestra in Aeschylus' Oresteia; Chekhov's Three Sisters ).
