Edmond Jaloux
Edmond Jaloux ( born June 19, 1878 in Marseille, † August 22 1949 in Lutry ) was a French writer and literary critic.
Jaloux worked from 1917 to 1923 as a civil servant in the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 1936 he was a member of the Académie française. From 1940 he lived in Switzerland.
Jaloux ' moody and psychological novels have partly surrealistic elements.
