Edmond Kapllani

Edmond Kapllani ( born July 31, 1982 in Durres ) is an Albanian football player. Since July 2012, he plays for FSV Frankfurt.

Career

Clubs

The 1.85 m wide and both strong striker began his career in Albania at KS Teuta Durres. About the Croatian club NK Rijeka Orijent landed Kapllani the capital club FK Partizani Tirana. In 2003 he moved to KS Besa Kavaja. Here he made with twelve goals in 35 games the breakthrough and was first appointed to the at that time by the German Hans -Peter Briegel coached team. In 2004 Kapllani signed a contract with the second division club Karlsruher SC. In the Shadow of Sebastian Freis and winter newcomer Joshua Kennedy he often remained just a place on the bench. Only after Kennedy had suffered towards the end of the season injured, Kapllani moved in the last five games again in the starting lineup. He then scored his first Bundesliga goals against Werder Bremen and Hertha BSC. In the 2008 /09 season Kapllani came with only six Startelfeinsätzen but again not on the role of reservists beyond. The Karlsruher SC rose at the end of the season again in the 2nd Bundesliga.

On the basis of a contractual term free transfer exchange entitled Kapllani signed for season 2009/10, a two-year contract with the then second division side FC Augsburg. After he had come there in the first round only twice used, he moved into the winter break on loan to Premier League rivals TuS Koblenz. On Oberwerth was Kapllani regulars and five hits most successful strikers of the TuS back round, the descent into third league at the end of the season. In the season 2010/11 Kapllani played in the aftermath of yet another lending agreement for the second division side SC Paderborn 07 at the beginning of the season he moved to a torn ACL and fell two months out. At the end of the season he was with eight goals in 23 league games of the club 's top scorer internally Paderborn.

For the 2011/12 season Kapllani returned to Augsburg after his contract was automatically extended by the temporary rise of FCA for another year. In November 2011, he scored against VfL Wolfsburg during the Bundesliga Augsburg first home victory after more than three years a Bundesliga goal. His end of the season expiring contract, however, was not extended; he was passed on the final day.

For the 2012/13 season is Kapllani joined the second division FSV Frankfurt. During the winter break he was injured during an indoor tournament again cruciate ligament and missed the first seven back round matches. After his recovery he was back to the starting line- Bornheimer. In total he played 26 league games during the season. With eleven goals and five assists, he was the best scorer and preparer of the club that reached the best finish in club history with fourth place in the table. In the 2013/14 season Kapllani marked as part of a 3-0 away victory against Dynamo Dresden the first hat-trick of his professional career in Germany and at the same time his 50th Zweitligator. On November 25, 2013 Kapllani was excluded from the game by the club until the end of the year, after four days earlier turned in the away match against Energie Cottbus shortly before the end of a penalty in the 4-1 Final, although coach Benno Möhlmann Kapllanis teammate Denis Epstein as a shooter had chosen. National

Kapllani debuted on 28 April 2004 during a friendly match against Estonia in the national team of Albania. In qualifying for the 2008 European Championships he shot June 2, 2007 his first international goal against Luxembourg. His sixth international goal scored Kapllani on 20 August 2008 as part of a friendly match against Liechtenstein.
