Edmund Bruggmann
Edmund " Edy " Bruggmann ( born April 15, 1943 in Flums ) is a retired Swiss ski racer.
His biggest success was winning the giant slalom silver medal at the Winter Olympics 1972 in Sapporo. In the World Ski Championships 1970 in Val Gardena he was fifth in the combination.
In Skiweltcup Brugg man won five races. Five times he drove to second place, four times third place. There are also 32 other rankings in the top ten. In the 1971/72 season he was third in the overall World Cup standings. He played his last race on January 27, 1974 in the Slalom Kitzbühel.
Edmund Brugg man is married and runs a hotel in Flumserberg.
