Édon

Édon ( Occitan: Aidon ) is a municipality with 266 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the Charente region of France in the Poitou -Charentes.

Location

Édon lies at an altitude of about 150 meters above sea level. inst about 31 km ( driving distance ) south-east of Angoulême in the ancient cultural landscape of the Angoumois. The small stream Manore flows in the municipal area in the river Lizonne.
