Edson Cordeiro

Edson Cordeiro ( born February 9, 1967 in Santo André ) is a Brazilian singer and countertenor.

Life

Cordeiro singing since the age of six, first in the church choir of a Protestant church. He played children's theater, and at age 16 he appeared in the rock opera Amapola by Miguel Briamonte, his later producer. In 1988, he acted as a singer and actor in the Brazilian edition of the rock musical Hair. The following year he went with The Imaginary Invalid by Molière on tour in Europe and North and Central America.

Edson Cordeiro was discovered in the early 1990s by a pop music manager on the road. Since August 1990, he appears as a singer on with their own program. His first appearance in the Brazilian television with the aria of the Queen of the Night from The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart made ​​him known throughout the country and he became a popular pop singer in Brazil.
