Eduard Heinrich von Flottwell

Heinrich Eduard Flottwell since 1861 by Flottwell ( born July 23, 1786 in Insterburg, East Prussia, † May 28, 1865 in Berlin) was a royal Prussian Minister of State and President of the Province of Brandenburg.

Education and career start

Flottwell studied in Königsberg, the rights and began after his doctorate in law. in February 1805 the High Court Auskultator Insterburg a legal career. Honors

With award of the Black Eagle Flottwell was raised on 18 October 1861 in Königsberg, the Prussian nobility. Since 1844, he was an honorary citizen of Magdeburg. Flottwell was awarded his 50-year anniversary with an honorary citizen of the city of Berlin. For his services in the time of the great fire, he was also an honorary citizen in Hamburg.

One of his sons was the officials and elected representatives Adalbert of Flottwell.
