Eduard Hellvig

Eduard Raul Hellvig ( born October 27, 1974 in Zalău, Romania ) is a Romanian politician and former Member of the European Parliament for the Partidul Conservator. In the wake of Romania's accession to the European Union, he was from January 1 to December 9, 2007 at the European Parliament, where he was a member of the Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. In December 2008 he moved from the Conservatives to the Liberal National Party, whose Secretary General, he is since 2011.

On 7 May 2012, Eduard Raul Hellvig Romanian tourism minister in the cabinet Ponta, he held this office until a government reshuffle in late 2012. In September 2013 he returned to the European Parliament.
