Torpedo Moscow

The Edward Strelzow Stadium (Russian Стадион имени Эдуарда Стрельцова ) is an athletics stadium, which is used for football, and is in the Russian capital Moscow. The stadium is located southeast of the center of Moscow and provides 13,450 spectators. Until the mid- 1990s Torpedo Moscow was its home games from here until we moved to the Luzhniki Stadium. Since 2009 Torpedo Moscow plays here again. In the meantime, the stadium of FK Moscow and FK Torpedo - ZIL Moscow again in 2003, founded by SIL was used.

The stadium is named after Eduard Strelzow, who was a very successful football player at Torpedo Moscow.

Stadium details

The Edward Strelzow Stadium has two uncovered stands on the long sides. A running track is also available, but not nearly as generous as in the Luzhniki Stadium applied so that the audience is placed quite close to the action.
