Educational Pictures

Educational Pictures (also Educational Films Corporation ) was an American film production company, which was the market leader for short film comedies in the U.S. movie rental in the wedding of the silent film. They existed from 1915 1940. Mainly produced Educational Pictures two-act comedies, including cartoons. In addition, the company brought out also short documentaries ( Novelties ), one of which, Krakatoa, in 1934 won an Oscar.

Under contract with Educational included the comedy directors Jack White, Al Christie and Mack Sennett in the 1930s and Buster Keaton was committed as an actor in Educational.
