Edvin Kallstenius

Edvin Kallstenius ( born August 29, 1881 in Filipstad, † November 22, 1967 in Stockholm) was a Swedish composer.

Kallstenius completed a science degree before he was from 1904 to 1907 students by Stephan Krehl in Leipzig. He was a music critic and from 1928 to 1946 music archivist of broadcasting in Stockholm. He also was a member of the board of the Swedish Composers' Union from 1933 to 1961 and the copyright company of 1932 until 1957.

In addition to about thirty radio play music, he composed five symphonies and five sinfoniettas, an orchestral suite, an Allegro sinfonico, a serenade, a piano concerto, chamber works, cantatas, choral works and songs.
