Edvin Marton

Edvin Marton (actually: Lajos Edvin Csűry; born February 17, 1974 in Wylok, Ukraine) is a Hungarian composer and violinist.

Life

Marton was in the small Ukrainian town Wylok (Hungarian: Tiszaújlak ), near the border with Hungary, born in a Hungarian family. He was very talented from an early age and was recorded in 1983 at the State PI Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. In the following years he studied in Budapest, New York and Vienna.

He plays a violin made by Antonio Stradivari, from 1697. Violin With this he accompanied, among others, the Eiskünstläufer Yevgeny Plyushchenko, Stéphane Lambiel, and other in their freestyles and gave concerts in Germany and Switzerland.

In 2006 he won an Emmy. When Euro Vision Song Contest 2008, he helped with Yevgeny Plyushchenko the Russian Dima Bilan to victory.
