Edvin Murati

Edvin Murati Sabri ( born November 12, 1975 in Tirana ) is a former Albanian football player who also has French nationality. He usually played as a left attacking midfielder.

Career

In 1995 he moved to France 18 years old Paris St. Germain and was loaned for a year without an assignment to LB Châteauroux. After another Einjahresleihe to St. Brieux, he played 1997/98 again for PSG, which won the "triple" from Cup, League Cup and Super Cup this season. Murati was however used this season only once.

In the 1998/99 season he played for Fortuna Dusseldorf in the 2nd Bundesliga season and came on eleven missions. He then moved back to PSG. From 2000 to 2002 he played for Lille OSC.

In 2002 he moved to Iraklis Thessaloniki to Greece, where he played until 2006 and at the beginning of the season 2006/ 07 to Panserraikos in the Beta Ethniki yet. In early 2008, he finished his career there.

For the Albanian national Murati played 41 times, scoring four goals.

Currently he runs a sports agency in Paris in cooperation with Paris St. Germain for the promotion of Albanian football talents.
