Edward A. Guggenheim
Edward Armand Guggenheim ( born August 11, 1901 in Manchester, † August 9, 1970 ) was an English physical chemist and professor of chemistry at the University of Reading. He is known for all of his contributions to thermodynamics.
Guggenheim in 1933 published the textbook " Modern Thermodynamics by the Methods of Willard Gibbs ." He was from 1946 to 1966 professor of chemistry at the University of Reading.
