Edward Abramowski

Edward Józef Abramowski ( born August 17, 1868 in Stefanin, † June 21, 1918 in Warsaw) was a Polish philosopher, psychologist, sociologist and anarchist. In his scientific work he sought to bridge the gap between psychology and sociology.

1885 Abramowski began a science degree at the University of Krakow, but moved to the University of Geneva, where he studied philosophy until 1889 a year later. After political and journalistic activities Abramowski revised its ideological positions from Marxism to anarchism during a long illness.

Since 1915 he has been a professor of psychology at the University of Warsaw and also lectured on issues of metaphysics.

He developed scientific approach he described himself as " phenomenalism ". By this he meant the research effort to reduce all phenomena of social life on the contents of consciousness of individuals.
