Edward Furlong

Edward Walter Furlong ( born August 2, 1977 in Glendale, California) is an American actor.

Life and career

Edward Furlong is the son of Elenor Torres. He was raised by his aunt and uncle, whose last name he took. He was married to Rachael Bella since April 2006, in September 2006, both parents of a son were. In July 2009 it was announced that the marriage is in divorce after three years. The reason for this Bella was " irreconcilable differences" on.

His best-known roles are those of the young John Connor in Terminator 2 - Judgment Day and that of Danny Vinyard in American History X. Due to temporary drug addiction he had to repeatedly emit roles, he was, for example, Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines (2003) replaced by Nick Stahl.

2011 Furlong was featured in the movie The Green Hornet, as well as in the thriller Below Zero alongside Michael Berryman. In 2012 he played in the Syfy television horror film Arachnoquake.

In March 2013 Furlong was sentenced to six months in prison because he had violated his probation in connection with a domestic violence case.

Awards (selection)

For his role in Terminator 2 - Judgment Day he Best Performance by a Younger Actor in 1992 with the Saturn Award in the category of excellent. In 1994 he received the Young Artist Award for his role in Wild chestnuts.
