Edward H. Kruse

Edward H. Kruse ( born October 22, 1918 in Fort Wayne, Indiana; † January 4, 2000 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida ) was an American politician. Between 1949 and 1951 he represented the State of Indiana in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Edward Kruse attended until 1936, the South Side High School in Fort Wayne and then studied until 1942 at Indiana University. After a subsequent study of law and its made ​​in 1942 admitted to the bar he began to work in this profession. During the Second World War he served between 1942 and 1945 in the U.S. Navy.

Politically, Kruse member of the Democratic Party. In the congressional elections of 1948 he was in the fourth electoral district of Indiana in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of George W. Gillie on January 3, 1949. As he said Republicans E. Ross Adair defeated in 1950, he was able to complete only one term in Congress until January 3, 1951.
