Edward Neumeier

Edward Neumeier ( born 1957 ) is an American screenwriter and producer.

His first screenplay he wrote in 1987 for RoboCop. For this he was awarded the 1988 Saturn Award. It was not until ten years later another of his screenplays was filmed, again by Paul Verhoeven: it was Starship Troopers. He also wrote the screenplay for the two sequels Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation, Starship Troopers 3: Marauder. With the latter, he also made ​​his debut as a director. The screenplay for Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid also comes from his pen.
