Edward Ray Robinson

Edward Ray Robinson ( born July 24, 1893 in Los Angeles, California, † April 27, 1979 ) was an American art director and production designer, who was nominated for the Academy Awards in 1943 for an Oscar for Best Production Design.

Life

Robinson began his career as an art director and production designer in the film industry in Hollywood in 1942 with films like Invisible Agent and The Spoilers. For the scenic features of this Ray Enright with Marlene Dietrich, Randolph Scott and John Wayne staged black and white westerns he got together with John B. Goodman, Jack Otterson and Russell A. Gausman his Oscar nomination for Best Production Design.

Throughout his lasting until 1953, he worked with at the facilities of almost seventy films and episodes of television series.
