Edward Saxon

Edward Saxon ( born November 17, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American film producer.

Life

Saxon attended 1976-1980 McGill University and following the USC School of Cinematic Arts of the University of Southern California. He worked for many years with Jonathan Demme to the common film credits include That Thing You Do!, Miami Blues and Philadelphia. For The Silence of the Lambs Saxon won the Oscar.

According to The Truth About Charlie the paths of Demme and Saxon parted. Then he produced, among others, Richard Linklater's Fast Food Nation.
