Edzo Toxopeus

Edzo Hendrik Toxopeus ( born February 19, 1918 in Amersfoort, Utrecht Province; † August 23, 2009 in Oegstgeest, Zuid-Holland province ) was a Dutch lawyer and politician of Partij van de Vrijheid ( PVDC ) and the Volkspartij voor de Vrijheid Democracy (VVD ) who was also a member of the Second Chamber of the States General, Minister of Interior and Minister of State.

Life

Studies, career and deputy

After visiting the Municipal Gymnasium of Breda Toxopeus began in 1936 a degree in Dutch law at Utrecht University, which he completed in May 1942.
