Eelde
Eelde is a village in the Netherlands in the province of Drenthe and part of the municipality Tynaarlo. It is located about ten kilometers south of the city of Groningen.
Eelde has a remarkable wooden shoe museum, the International Wooden Shoe Museum. The Groningen Eelde airport lies on the territory of the village south of the village and hosts a flying school and a weather station. The so-called Paterswoldse Sea is a situated near the lake with many water sports. Within the village, there is a view worthy old church.
