The Ephemeris (Greek Efimerís Ἐφημερίς "Newspaper ") was the oldest known Greek -language newspaper.

History

After Emperor Joseph II had 1783 printing of Greek- media allowed, the first edition of the Vienna newspaper Ephemeris .. was released in June 1784 She was the voice of the Greek enlightenment; after only eight issues the show after political pressure was adjusted.
