Eforie Sud, Constanţa

Eforie Sud is a district of the city Eforie in Romania, located on the Black Sea coast. He is close Eforie Nord on a land link between the Black Sea and the beach Techirghiol Lake.

History

The place was between the First and Second World Wars Carmen Silva, named after the artist name of the Queen Elisabeth of Romania. Eforie Sud was established in 1912 as a health resort.

The place is recommended for the treatment of rheumatism, skin diseases and bone diseases. The fine sludge from the nearby Techirghiol lake is used for the cure. For a small fee, the mud bath for each is accessible. At the site there is a Kalkvorgebirge and a cliff that reaches in some places even 35 meters in height.
