History

Egger -Bahn to 1967

The company was founded in 1963 by three siblings in the Egger family, the line parted shortly after the engineer Theodor Egger and merchant Johann Egger, while the third family member retired from the company again. As an investor in 1964 took part in the company Constantin Film in the company and also took influence on the products: So from now on / Winnetou films of the period were also produced Westernzugmodelle based on the Old Shatterhand, who were not a success. In 1967 the firm was dissolved again, sold remaining inventories and production to the French model railway manufacturer Jouef.

The 1967 presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair expansion of the range of models of the Zillertal railway was no longer produced due to lack of financial opportunities. Later, these models have been revised accordingly taken up by the Austrian model railway manufacturer Liliput and have since been made ​​to date.

Jouef led the production after the takeover of Egger -Bahn continued virtually unchanged until 1971. The sale of the relevant products was carried out until 1973.

In 1983, the forms of production are being rediscovered. It comes in 1985 to resume the production of the new edition (indicated by a gray instead of blue packaging carton ) of some revised vehicle models and single additional newly designed vehicle models up to 1994.
