Fritz Egger GmbH & Co. OG is an Austrian family company based in St. Johann in Tirol ( Tyrol).

History

The company Egger was sen in 1961 by Fritz Egger. (1922-1982) founded.

Locations and corporate development

Egger produced at 17 sites in Europe ( Austria, Germany, France, Great Britain, Romania ) as well as Russia and Turkey wood materials with a production capacity of 6.92 million m³ annually. The approximately 7,200 employees earned with chipboard, MDF and OSB boards and the ensuing products reported consolidated revenues of € 2.181 billion (figures for 2012/2013 ). 2008 Egger built his first sawmill in Brilon own group ( Germany ). Currently expanding Egger example, his Romanian site in Rădăuţi a glue factory and an OSB plant.
