Egham

Egham is a small town in the county of Surrey in the South East of England. It lies south of London, near the London orbital motorway, the M25. The Windsor Castle about can be reached from Egham on foot in an hour.

Egham is part of the metropolitan catchment area of London. Administratively, the city of the Borough of Runnymede is assigned. In the vicinity of Runnymede, the Magna Carta was signed in 1215.

The Royal Holloway College, University of London is located in Egham. In 2005, about 6,600 students were enrolled here.
