Egholm

Egholm is a Danish island in the Limfjord near the city of Aalborg. The island has a size of 600 hectares and is 48 inhabitants ( 1 January 2013) permanently inhabited. The island is part of the parish community (Danish: Sogn ) Vesterkær Sogn, the office belonged until 1970 to Harde Kær Herred in the former Aalborg, then to the Aalborg municipality in the former North Amt, with the municipal reform on 1 January 2007 in the "new " Aalborg municipality has risen in North Jutland.
