Egon von Neindorff (dressage)

Egon von Neindorff ( born 1 November 1923 in chub; † 19 May 2004, Karlsruhe, Germany) was the founder and leader of a riding school in which he taught the rules of classical riding up to high school.

Life

He received his first equestrian training from his father, later known riding masters such as Felix Bürkner, Richard Wätjen, Ludwig Zeiner, Alois Podhajsky and Otto Lörke. 1946 moved Egon von Neindorff to Lörrach, founded with some horses carried a riding school and led the probably the first tournament in Germany after the Second World War by.

From 1947 to 1954 he has been extremely successful in tournaments. In 1949 he moved with his horses in the listed Reithaus the former Telegraph barracks in the north-western city of Karlsruhe, where he worked as a teacher of classical horsemanship until his death in May 2004. Foundation and Riding Institute

In 1991, Egon von Neindorff named after him Reitinstitut Egon von Neindorff Foundation, the State of Baden -Württemberg and the city of Karlsruhe joined. Goal is the preservation of classical riding up to high school through the training of horses and talented riders and riders as well as the promotion of young talent.

The Riding Institute Egon von Neindorff Foundation leads the 50 -year-long work of the riding master continuing in his spirit in the historic riding hall in Karlsruhe. It is a place of learning, in which the traditional and proven rules of classical riding are taught up to high school - both in the training of riders and horses.

The "Association of Classical Riding by Egon von Neindorff eV " was founded on 26 January 1989 with the goal of promoting the art of classical riding, as taught in the riding Institute Egon von Neindorff and is, and preserve it for the future. He continues to serve as patrons for the Reitinstitut Egon von Neindorff Foundation.
