Egri FC

Egri Futball Club is a Hungarian football club from Eger. The association, which never became a Hungarian football champions to date, currently plays in the Nemzeti National Championship III, the third highest Hungarian League and plays its home matches at the Szentmarjay - Tibor - Városi Stadium, which seats 6,500 spectators.

History

The association Egri Futball Club was located in 1907 in the town of Eger, with plenty of 50,000 inhabitants in the north of Hungary, founded. Over the years, the club went through a whole series of name changes, which have to do first of all by the changing political situation in Hungary of the 20th century. Overall, Eger FC may have five seasons in the highest Hungarian football league, the Nemzeti National Championship. Recently they found the club in the 2012/13 season in Hungary Elite League after the first place in the Eastern group of the second league with seven points was reached before Szolnoki MÁV FC in the previous year. But after the rise to Eger FC could not hold in the mixture in the Nemzeti National Championship, after a year you had to, after finished the season only to last place with just fifteen points achieved, go back.

Then Egri FC was even passed down to the third division, as it has not received approval for the II Nemzeti National Championship 2013/14 due to financial constraints and thus this season in the third-class Nemzeti National Championship competes III.
