Egungun

A Egungun ( Egungun ) is a medium that acts as a mask dancer in a ritual in which it is possessed by the ancestors in the ancestral cult of the Yoruba. In this magical way of ancestor acts on the surviving family members. There are particular burial rites and rituals of graves and shrines. Egungun dancers practicing this function for a family or for a collective.

The Egungun mask covers the entire body of the dancer.
