Eichendorff-Literaturpreis

The Eichendorff Prize for Literature in 1956 from Wangen district - sponsored Society for Literature and Arts of the East eV.

Born from the tradition of the Upper Silesian Joseph Freiherr von Eichendorff price he initially doped with a small amount of money and was called modest scamp travel scholarship. The doping is now 5,000 euro.

This literature prize in memory of Joseph von Eichendorff to be directed, among other things, the attention to writers who come from Silesia or to be intensely involved Silesian culture. The award ceremony takes place every year in the context of Wangen calls.
