Eiffage

Eiffage is a French construction company with headquarters in Asnières- sur -Seine.

Eiffage employs approximately 69,000 people. The company is headed by Jean -Francois Roverato. It was created in 1992 through the acquisition of the company La Societe d' auxiliary division Enterprises de Travaux Public Electricity and (SAE: established in 1924 ) by the company Fougerolle (founded in 1884). With the acquisition, the company received the company name Eiffage.

One of the last major construction projects included the Viaduc de Millau and the high-speed line Perpignan - Figueres, which was opened in 2010. Furthermore, it was built including the 1995 Normandy bridge over the Seine and 1998 enlargement of the European Parliament in Brussels.

About the Eiffel Construction Métallique SAS and the German company Eiffel Germany Steel Technology is part of the Eiffage group. On 1 January 2010 took over the Eiffage construction group of companies Faber in Alzey.

In 2010, Eiffage took over from Heijmans Railway Infrastructure of the former Heitkamp. Headquarters of this division is Bochum, the track laying equipment and the associated workshop are located on the grounds of the former Heitkamp BauHolding in Herne-Wanne.
