Eiffel 65
Eiffel 65 is a trio of Italian musicians from Turin. Their music is mainly the areas assigned to Euro Dance and Electronic Music.
History
Although the band had until the end of the 1990s never really formed, since 1992 the three friends already make music together. The name Eiffel was selected by the random routine of a computer program. The number 65 was written only by an error on one of their demo tapes and was originally part of a phone number.
Your international breakthrough was achieved by Eiffel 65 in 1999 with the song Blue ( Da Ba Dee ). This can be characterized by a catchy melody with auto-tune vocals worked well as a catchy chorus. With the title of the band reached # 1 on the charts in many European countries. In Germany occupied Blue ( Da Ba Dee ) from August 1999. Nine weeks at No. 1 in the UK for three weeks

Their second album, Contact from 2001, however, was only a modest success. Only in Italy reached the album and the singles chart positions. In 2003, the trio released a named after the band's album in Italian, which was specially recorded a huge success in Italy. A year later, the book published in 2003, this album was released along with a newly produced English version of this album and a few remixes as a double CD in Italy.
Beginning of March 2005 Gabry Ponte parted, the DJ of the group because he had not cooperated in the production of the album Crash Test (working title) and followed a different musical goals. After the departure of Gabry Ponte, the group was therefore only from Jeffrey Jey and Maurizio Lobina, which also announced initially, the project continue Eiffel 65. On June 16, 2010, Blisscorporation the comeback of Eiffel 65 known. In addition to Jeffrey Jey and Maurizio Lobina Gabry Ponte also will join the project again. The first studio album after the reunion is in the works and should appear in 2013.
