Eifion Lewis-Roberts

Eifion Thomas Lewis Roberts ( born February 13, 1981 in St Asaph, Denbighshire ) is a Welsh rugby union player who is used to the position of the pillar. He plays for the Sale Sharks and has been used once in the Welsh national team.

Roberts played until 2005 as an amateur at Ruthin RFC in Wales and was also a farmer in his native town until he moved to the English professional league Guinness Premiership 2005. After a few seasons, he was taken from Warren Gatland in November 2008 for the first time in the ranks of the Welsh national team and was in the game against Canada to its debut. Due to the tour of the British and Irish Lions missing in summer 2009, some regulars, so that he was again nominated for the squad. However, it can not participate due to injury.

Because of his stature and his weight of over 130 kg, it was nicknamed The Fridge ( the fridge), alluding to the American-football player William Perry.
