Eigil Ramsfjell

Eigil Ramsfjell ( born March 17, 1955 in Oslo) is a Norwegian curler.

His international debut was Ramsfjell at the Curling World Championships 1976 in Duluth, but he remained without a medal. In 1978 he won at the World Championships in Winnipeg with the silver medal his first precious metal. In the following year Ramsfjell was curling world champion for the first time.

Ramsfjell played as skip of the Norwegian team at the Winter Games in Calgary in 1988 and won the gold medal. Since curling was still a demonstration sport has the medal, however, no official status. Also played as Skip Ramsfjell the Norwegian team at the XVIII. Olympic Winter Games in Nagano in curling. The team won the Olympic bronze medal after a 9-4 wins in the match for third place against the USA to Skip Tim Somerville.
