En Carmel (Hebrew עין כרמל ) is a kibbutz in the Israeli Carmel coast at Atlit. The village has about 400 inhabitants and is located about 15 kilometers south of Haifa on the road Haifa -Tel Aviv.

En Carmel was founded in 1950 by the merger of the former inhabitants of the kibbutz En haJam with a group of kibbutz Ramat Rachel near Jerusalem. The name of the kibbutz refers to the location at the foot of the Carmel Mountains.

Near De Karmel is the nature reserve Nahal Me'arot. In Nachal Me'arot important discoveries were made from prehistoric times, demonstrating that the local caves (among others: Skhul ) were inhabited since about 200,000 years.
