A star ( ... thy name bears ) is a pop singer of the Austrian Nikolaus Presnik aka Nik P. from the year 1998. He was in the version of the originating also from Austria singer DJ Ötzi Nik P., together with a success in German-speaking countries.

History

The song was written in 1998 by Nikolaus Presnik and composed. Performed by Michael Stern, it took part in the same year at the Grand Prix of the hit song, reaching number ten there.

It was played frequently in late 2006 in the club scene of Mallorca and thus given a new prominence.
