Eincheville
Eincheville ( German: Enschweiler ) is a commune with 228 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Forbach and Canton Grostenquin.
Geography
The village is situated in the north of Lorraine, about 30 kilometers southeast of Metz.
History
The town was first mentioned in 1196 as Enswilre. Other spellings were Ensweiler ( 1257 ), Ancheweiler ( 1287 ) and Enssweiller (1594 ).
