Eirene (artist)

Eirene (Greek Ἐιρήνη ) was an ancient Greek painter in the 3rd century BC She was the daughter and pupil of the painter Cratinus. It is mentioned only by Pliny the Elder, Naturalis historia 35, 147. Then they should have painted the portrait of a girl who was in Eleusis.
