eirjet

Eirjet (proper spelling eirjet ) was an Irish charter airline based in Shannon and based at Shannon Airport.

History

The airline was founded in 2004 and adopted on 23 December 2004 its flight service on. At the initial fleet of two Airbus A320-200s were joined by 2005, two more aircraft of the same type. Eirjet tried in the same year to obtain traffic rights for transcontinental flights in the United States, but failed.

On the basis of errors of management, in particular regarding the Verleasens the own aircraft to Ryanair, which one would have even needed to carry out their own flights, the airline had to cease operations on 18 October 2006.
