Eisha Marjara

Eisha Marjara 1994 gained first international attention with her film The Incredible Shrinking Woman, followed by Desperately seeking Helen, a semi-documentary feature film about the Bollywood actress Helen. The film won the jury prize at the Munich Documentary Film Festival and the Prix de la Semaine Critique on the Locarno Film Festival in 2000. The Canadian- German co-production The Tourist was first performed on 22 February 2006 at the 24th Rendez -vous du Cinéma Québécois. The Tourist is the first film of Marjaras own production company Magic Carpet film.
