History

A Frankish settlement is dated to the first half of the 7th century. Since 1164 the monastery had upper cell property in Eisingen, he was also responsible for up to modern times, the pastoral care of the place. In 1500 the Knights had pin ( to 1464 Benedictine ) St. Burkard in Würzburg the village rule and a good half of the manor. In the St. Nicholas Church in the town center you can see the cross of the famous sculptor Tilman Riemenschneider. Additional points of interest include the walk-in labyrinth at St. Joseph's pen and the gallery "Art in Erbachshof " in the hamlet Erbachshof.

Regular events

Once a year the Backhäusle festival called takes place in Eisingen. This is baked in the still sublime old stone oven bread and Blaatz. It is organized by the festival committee of the clubs.
