Eizo

Eizo Nanao Corporation (Japanese株式会社 ナナオKabushiki - gaisha Nanao ), short EIZO, is a Japanese manufacturer of computer monitors.

The name " Eizo " is a pun on the Japanese word for " image " (in Japanese映像, Eizo in romaji ).

Products

The product range of the company includes different screens upmarket. Here Eizo trying to sell no universal solution for all applications, but specially developed products for applications primarily in the commercial sector. This principle different product lines emerged.

For applications in the office, the FlexScan line was developed, which was designed primarily for word processing and available in different sizes and versions is. History

The company was founded in 1968 as Hakui Electronic Corporation in Hakui, Japan and established initially Television ago. In March 1978, the company became the Nanao Corporation. 1976 began with the production of industrial monitors and 1981 with PC monitors.

In Europe, Eizo has launched as a brand in 1985, after the company's Hitec Associates Ltd.. was founded as a sales subsidiary for the European market. During the same period offices were established in the United States, there to sell products under the Nanao brand.

In January 1990, Hitec Associates Ltd. was. renamed Eizo Corporation. Nine years later, Eizo Nanao Corporation and Corporation were merged to form today's corporate form.

History

In March 1968, the founding of Hakui Electronic Corporation in Japanese Hakui, whose name was changed in March 1973 in " Nanao Corporation " took place. In April 1981, a manufacturing facility in Matto (now Hakusan ) was feretiggestellt.

Founded in September 1992 Eizo Sweden AB in Sweden ( today Eizo Europe AB ) began with the sale of LCD monitors for gaming rooms. In April 1996, the brand name has been unified to " Eizo " world. February 1998 saw the establishment of the Eizo Support Network Corporation in Japan Hakusan, the after-sales service was received with seven offices in Japan. In April 1999, the Eizo Nanao Corporation merged with the Corporation Eizo Nanao Corporation. In November 2009, the Corporation Eizo Japan bought the monitor business of eg -electronic GmbH. Then, the EIZO Technologies GmbH is founded and based in Wolfratshausen Germany. Beginning of July 2012, the company opened in Mönchengladbach with the Eizo Europe GmbH its new Sales & Marketing headquarters in Europe.

The company was certified in 1993 to ISO 9002 1997 to IOS 9001 and 1998 according to ISO 14000-1.
