The club EK Zeller polar bears, polar bears also CPB or Zeller called, is an Austrian ice hockey club from Zell am See, who plays in the second highest Austrian league, the Inter - National -League. The EK Zeller polar bear was six times champion of the National League. The homestead is the Zeller ice rink, which includes approximately 3,200 seats and standing places.

The club was founded in 1928 by Erich Willi and Schandlbauer, Ing Otto Gross and Hainz. Since 1929, the CPB member of the Austrian Ice Hockey Federation. Beginning of the season 2009/10 there was a start-up and split into two teams - EK Zeller polar bears as a National League club and EK Zeller polar bears Juniors, exclusively dedicated to youth development.

Venue

Built in 1989 ice rink of Zell am See offers 3,200 visitors. Of these, 1,400 standing places and 1,800 seats. For the season 2003/2004, the hall was renovated. In the 2006/07 season drew an average of 2,029 spectators to the home games of the shopping center.
