Ekseption

Ekseption was a symphonic rock band from the Netherlands. The group was from 1967 to 1975, after which it was until 1989 several times revived sporadically with different ensembles. Model was the English rock group The Nice. Especially by an arrangement of Beethoven's 5th Symphony, the group was known.

The first LP Ekseption appeared in 1968 and contained mostly rock new arrangements of classics such as Johann Sebastian Bach.
