The El Gouna Stadium is located in El Gouna in ostägyptischen government al -Bahr al - ahmar.

2009 Founded in 2003, El Gouna FC increased as a master of the second Egyptian league in the Egyptian Premier League. The previous stadium offered a maximum of 3000 spectators, for the stages of the first division but applies a Miminalkapazität of 10,000 seats. After a few " home games " in Cairo could be replaced by a 14,000 places bidding by the end of 2009, the current stadium. The El Gouna FC is managed by German coach Rainer Zobel since April 2013.

The Egyptian national football team played since the re-opening two matches in El Gouna. On 14 August 2013, the team beat Uganda in a friendly match 3-0. On September 10, 2013 Egypt met in the third home game for the qualification for the World Cup 2014 in El Gouna on Guinea and won 4-2.
