El Observador (Uruguay)

El Observador - German: " The Observer " - is a Spanish-language, Uruguayan newspaper from Montevideo.

The current opposition newspaper close was founded October 22, 1991 and represents a political and economic liberalism. Since 2000, El Observador offers on the Internet at the portal Observa.com.uy. This is however not about the Internet edition of the newspaper, but a constantly updated information portal, which also offers other services.

Founder and director of El Observador is Ricardo Peirano.
