El Paso is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) in Woodford and McLean County in the northern center of the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2010, El Paso had 2810 inhabitants.

El Paso is located at 40 ° 44'21 " north latitude and 89 ° 00'59 " west longitude and extending over 4.01 km ². The place is divided between the El Paso and the Panola Township, Woodford County and the Gridley Township, McLean County.
