El Pinar is a city in Uruguay, which has now gone up in the Ciudad de la Costa.

Geography

It is located in the south of the department of Canelones in whose sector 37 on the coast of the Río de la Plata. To the west is bordered Lomas de Solymar to the east and to the north lies Neptunia Country Villa Juana is located.

Infrastructure

By El Pinar, in the northern part of the circuit Autódromo Víctor Borrat Fabini is located, leads the Ruta Interbalnearia.

Population

The population of El Pinar is 21,091. (As of 2011)
